An early start
Nick was born into a musical family on a wet and windy Saturday morning at 12:37 a.m. in Staffordshire, England. Raised by parents who had deep roots in the entertainment industry, he was immersed in music from the very start. His mother had a background in modeling, while his father had played keyboards, guitar, and provided backing vocals for the legendary Sandie Shaw. When Nick was born, his parents teamed up to form a musical duo, performing together as they entertained crowds on the thriving working men’s club circuit.
Surrounded by pianos and steeped in the sounds of music, Nick developed a passion for the instrument at an early age. As a child, he would often stay up until the early hours, teaching himself to play while waiting for his parents to return from their gigs. This early immersion in music laid the foundation for a lifelong journey of creativity and musical exploration.

Nick was just beginning high school when it was decided that he would join his parents’ musical duo. Taking his place behind the keyboard on stage, he would perform alongside them, contributing backing vocals and keyboard riffs throughout the night’s set. During this time, Nick not only absorbed the lively atmosphere of live performances but also began learning the art of entertaining. His enjoyment of the experience grew, so much so that he and a close friend formed their own duo, "Midnight Express." The pair soon began performing their own gigs around the local area, marking the beginning of Nick’s journey as a performer in his own right.
The start of Nicks solo career
In his early twenties, Nick faced a profound loss when his mother passed away. Her death became a turning point in his life, prompting him to reflect on the future. It was this loss that solidified his decision: he was going to move to Spain. During that time, many people were flocking there, drawn by the thriving entertainment opportunities. Nick, eager for a new chapter, followed suit.
Within just a few years of settling in Spain, Nick had become a household name in his local area as a solo artist and versatile entertainer. He performed at local fiestas, earning the admiration of both the Expat community and the Spanish locals. From theaters and bars to venues up and down the coast, Nick’s performances captivated audiences. He appeared on local television, won numerous local awards, and teamed up with fellow performers to stage variety nights.
Nick’s career continued to flourish as he expanded his horizons. Over the years, he worked with three local radio stations, collaborated with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, and spent time both on and off cruise ships, initially as a solo singer and eventually as a “Cruise Director.” His journey then took him to Majorca, where he worked as an Entertainment Manager for a prestigious hotel.
Today, Nick reflects on his career with gratitude and amazement. The friendships he's built along the way remain one of his greatest joys, a testament to the connections he's forged through his work as an entertainer.
The move to Germany
In his third year as an Entertainment Manager in Majorca, Nick faced an unexpected and life-altering event—Covid hit. The world came to a standstill, and everything shut down. Chaos ensued, and like many, Nick was forced to confront a difficult decision. His partner, whom he had met the year before, was living in Germany, and as a native German had established her life there. With the world in turmoil, Nick chose to join her, leaving behind his life in Spain to start a new chapter in Germany.

The Future
At 46, Nick continues to captivate audiences as a singer, DJ, and host of lively karaoke nights. The crossover between 2024 and 2025 marks an exciting chapter in his career as he wraps up work on his highly anticipated "Nick David & The Piano" project. This new show is particularly special for Nick, as it allows him to return to the piano,an instrument he first fell in love with many years ago. The show also promises to be a dynamic experience, with the integration of a fully programmed lighting rig and the addition of fresh songs to his already extensive repertoire. For Nick, this project represents a thrilling blend of nostalgia and innovation, bringing a new level of excitement to his performances.
